Requirements

Education

• B. Sc/ M. Sc in Textile Engineering (major in wet processing) from any reputed public or private university is highly preferable.

Experience

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Dyeing Factory

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 35 years

• Should be able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame.

• Must have good command to run a yarn dyeing project smoothly and independently.

• Proven working experience as AGM in yarn dyeing production department in any textile company.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, action-oriented approach to work and quick decision-making ability.

• Should have very good command in English. The incumbent should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven & have good personality with leadership skill.

Responsibilities & Context

• Oversee daily dyeing operations, including planning, scheduling, and executing dyeing orders.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time delivery with expected quality of dyed yarn according to production schedules.

• Ensure adherence to production targets, quality standards, and company guidelines.

• Implement and monitor quality control measures throughout the dyeing process to maintain color consistency and quality standards.

• Develop processes to minimize defects, improve dyeing precision, and reduce rework.

• Conduct regular quality checks and maintain quality records.

• Supervise the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and machinery, to optimize efficiency.

• Oversee the inventory of dye chemicals and other supplies, ensuring timely procurement and usage within budget.

• Collaborate with maintenance teams to keep dyeing machines and equipment in optimal condition.

• Lead and mentor the dyeing team, fostering a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and quality focus.

• Conduct training and skill development programs for team members to enhance productivity and safety.

• Set performance targets and regularly evaluate team members, providing feedback and support as needed.

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.

• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technology to enhance dyeing processes.

• Lead initiatives for waste reduction, water and energy conservation, and sustainable practices in the dyeing process.

• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety audits.

• Implement safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment.

• Maintain compliance with labor laws and company policies, promoting a fair and inclusive workplace.

• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to senior management.

• Maintain accurate records of production outputs, quality issues, and resource usage.

• Provide insights and recommendations for operational improvements.
