Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Law or relevant discipline
  • Partly/fully qualified Chartered Secretary (ACS/FCS) from ICSB will be given preference

Experience

    • At least 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

  • Age At most 45 years
  • Experience in a listed company or one regulated by IDRA, BSEC, or RJSC will be considered an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent command over English and Bangla (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Responsibilities & Context

  • Assist in convening and coordinating Board Meetings, General Meetings, and Committee Meetings in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Draft notices, agendas, resolutions, and minutes of meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain statutory registers, records, and filing requirements under the Companies Act and other applicable regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filings with regulatory authorities including IDRA, BSEC, RJSC, and others.
  • Support in the preparation of various reports, disclosures, and correspondences related to governance and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies on secretarial and legal matters.
  • Contribute to the implementation of corporate governance best practices and internal control frameworks.
