Requirements

Education

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance & Banking or related discipline from a reputed university.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Finance & Banking
  • Professional certification such as CA (CC), ACCA, CMA, or partly qualified candidates will be given preference.

Experience

    • 2 to 5 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Computer Hardware/Network Companies, Developer, Development Agency, Food (Packaged)/Beverage, Group of Companies, Importer, IT Enabled Service, Software Company, Telecommunication, Trading or Export/Import

Additional Requirements

  • Age 25 to 35 years
  • Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT Act, Income Tax Act, and Financial Regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar platforms).
  • Sound knowledge of IFRS, IAS, and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience in Budgeting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Context

The Executive / Sr. Executive – Finance & Accounts will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting activities, and assisting in the overall financial management of the organization.

  • Prepare and maintain daily accounting records, vouchers, and supporting documents.
  • Ensure accurate posting of transactions in ERP/Accounting Software.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor cash flow.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare VAT, Tax, and other statutory compliance-related documents.
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audit activities.
  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, and MIS reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Support inventory and fixed asset management activities.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management from time to time.
