Additional Requirements
Age At least 24 years
2–5 years of professional experience in journalism, reporting, editorial, content writing, or a related field.
Excellent Bangla and/or English writing and editing skills, with strong command of grammar, tone, and style.
Demonstrated ability in reporting, interviewing, research, storytelling, editing, and fact-checking.
Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify relevant, timely, and engaging story angles.
Ability to write accurately and effectively under tight deadlines and demanding circumstances.
Good understanding of digital journalism, social media publishing, and audience-focused content.
Strong attention to detail, professional integrity, and a commitment to accuracy and credibility.
Genuine interest in golf, sports, business, lifestyle, and current affairs will be highly valued.
A portfolio of published work is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities & Context
Report on golf tournaments, events, industry developments, and relevant business and lifestyle stories.
Conduct well-researched and engaging interviews with professional golfers, executives, industry leaders, partners, and prominent personalities.
Produce high-quality news reports, features, profiles, interviews, event coverage, and editorial stories.
Develop compelling digital and social media copy tailored to different platforms and audiences.
Create strong headlines, introductions, captions, story angles, and editorial treatments.
Edit, proofread, and fact-check content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and editorial quality.
Research stories thoroughly and verify information using reliable sources.
Maintain an organized editorial calendar, story pipeline, and publication schedule.
Work closely with photographers, videographers, designers, and the digital team to develop strong visual and editorial packages.
Contribute to magazines, special editions, newsletters, reports, and other editorial publications.
Ensure all content follows established editorial standards, brand guidelines, and professional journalistic practices.
