Responsibilities & Context

Bharateswari Homes, a sister concern of Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal (BD) Ltd., is a 90-year-old educational institution in Bangladesh. It has been honored with the highest state award, the Shadhinata Padak (2020), and is widely recognized as one of the most renowned and legendary residential schools and colleges for women in the country.

The institution is now inviting applications for the position of Lecturer (English) as per the organization’s policy.
Teach English language and literature to secondary/higher secondary level students (as per curriculum).
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and student assignments.
Prepare students for board exams (SSC/HSC or equivalent).
Monitor students’ academic progress and provide regular feedback.
Supervise and guide students during study hours in the hostel.
Participate in co-curricular activities such as debates, elocution, drama, and writing competitions.
Collaborate with other faculty and hostel staff to ensure discipline and student well-being.
Maintain communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
Take part in school events, meetings, and professional development programs.
