Additional Requirements
- Constant alertness to engineering design risks and opportunities, including proactive intervention where required.

- Fluent in the Microsoft Office suite of desktop applications and related software packages, with proficiency in MS Excel a must (proficiency in MS Project and PrimaveraP6 an advantage).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly.
Responsibilities & Context
- Product Knowledge: Should have product management experience in Security Surveillance and Automation products and solutions or enterprise IT Product/Services,including CCTV cameras, Access Control Systems, Alarm Systems, Home Automation, Commercial Automation, Hospitality Automation, IP telephony, Video Conferencing,Video Wall Solution, Audio Visual Solution, Fire Safety Solution, Structured Cabling, Building Management Solution and more.
- Relationship with OEM: Maintain relationships with existing OEM partners of above-mentioned product and services, as well as develop relationship with prospective new relevant OEM.
- Commercial Activities: Ensure all commercial activities in collaboration with Smart Technologies existing commercial team eg, issuance of PO, PI, LC, LC amendment,correction of LC Terms and conditions according to Bangladesh Bank rules and regulations, shipment condition negotiation with buyers and sellers, payment realization etc.
- Market Research: Conducting market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competitor offerings.
- Product Strategy: Defining the product strategy, including pricing, positioning, and target markets.
- Sales Support: Providing support to sales teams, including product training and collateral creation.
- Product Marketing: Developing marketing strategies and materials to promote above mentioned product and services.
- Keeping up with Industry Trends: Staying updated on the latest safety security and automation products.
- Technical Documentation: Provide customers with relevant technical documentation, user manuals, and product data sheets.
- Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitor’s products and conduct comparisons to highlight the advantages of offered safety security and automation products.
- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from potential customers to improve product offerings and identify areas for product enhancement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and sales teams to align product offerings with customer needs.
- Pre-Sales Support: Assist the sales team in closing deals by addressing technical concerns and objections from potential customers.
