Requirements
Education
- Diploma in Medical in medical
- Diploma in Medical Faculty/Medical Assistant course from an accredited academic institution.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO
Additional Requirements
Essential Skills
- Registered from Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC),
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in relevant clinical fields
- Working experience in health posts, including previous experience of supervising and mentoring otherhealth staff.
- Knowledge and experience with working in the field and medical emergency department will be added as advantages.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in humanitarian settings will be prioritized
- Experience working in Emergency Department/ ICU/ITU desirable
- Good command over English, Chittagongian & Bangla – desirable
Responsibilities & Context
Clinical Care:
- Responsible for providing support to Medical Officers and Nurses in providing health care services.
- Follow emergency health protocol to run a center, check vital signs and monitor medical patients
who are severely ill and require stabilization prior to transfer. - Conduct physical examinations to the patients as required.
- Write medical prescriptions are properly written with history and present conditions.
- Ensure proper drugs provision and communicate instructions with the patients so they can understand the treatment regimen.
- Provide general health services to the patients
- Ensure clinical set up are well organized and clean.
- lPC Management.
- Ensure proper donning and doffing of PPE items.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client information at all times
Other Responsibilities
Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor the maintenance of the medicine stock register and provide medicine to patients, ensuring all
patients have appropriate medicine. - Ensure that the medicines are kept in the store in a proper way having proper ventilation.
- Monitor proper infection prevention procedure is maintained
- Ensure the proper application of all monitoring tools used for monitoring clinical activities.
- Monitor triage, early recognition and source control.
- Supervise instrument processing.
- Monitor waste management in the health post.
- Submit all reports at a time to the line manager (daily & weekly).
- Fill out the drug register regularly and review drug stock
