Role Overview Summary

  • The National Volunteer- Policy and Advocacy will provide technical support to strengthen capacity of Civil Society Groups (CSGs) i.e. National Youth Forum, Youth Network, Women Farmer Association and grassroot youth-led CSGs/networks) to strengthen their capacity in public policy, civic participation, and locally led advocacy. Through co-creation and demand-driven accompaniment (coaching, mentoring, tailored tools), the role will help CSGs monitor policy commitments, develop joint influencing with duty-bearers, and make systems more responsive and accountable to the collective needs of marginalized groups especially women, girls, and persons with disabilities across themes such as SRHR, climate resilience/DRR, livelihoods, and safeguarding.
