Job Overview:
Whiteshell Limited is seeking a motivated Product Manager (Laptops, Desktop PCs, Printers, Projectors, UPS) to join our team. This role involves managing product lifecycles, developing roadmaps, conducting market research, and collaborating with OEM/ODM partners. Key responsibilities include pricing strategy, budget management, inventory planning, vendor communication, and ensuring product quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive IT hardware industry experience, a proven track record of achieving business goals, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Job Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product roadmaps for Laptops, desktop PCs, printers, projectors, and UPS devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of product features, timelines, and goals.
- Continuously assess market trends and user needs to refine the product strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with product principals and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), agreements, and payment terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Manage the shipment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies aligned with market expectations.
- Conduct benchmarking against competitors to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust pricing strategies as needed.
- Oversee after-sales service, including spare parts management and warranty claims.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with service teams to maintain high standards of after-sales support.
- Work with the R&D team to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.
- Collaborate with OEM/ODM partners to tailor products to specific market needs and company specifications.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and timelines with OEM/ODM partners to ensure cost-effective and timely product delivery.
- Ensure products comply with regulatory and quality standards.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to manage product inventory and ensure availability.
- Forecast demand and plan for stock replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Lead market research initiatives to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing products.
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to design and develop products that meet quality standards and consumer expectations.
- Ensure all products meet industry regulations and standards for safety, performance, and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to monitor product quality and proactively address any issues.
- Prepare detailed reports on product performance, market trends, and financials.
- Develop and manage the product budget, including costs associated with research, development, marketing, and operations.
- Track product profitability and collaborate with finance teams to ensure products meet financial targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams in product development, launch activities, and post-launch analysis.
- Foster collaboration between departments, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support.
- Mentor and develop junior product team members, providing guidance and support for their professional growth.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
