Requirements

Education

• B.Sc in Textile Engineering (Wet Process Technology) from a reputed Private or Public University.

Experience

• At least 3 years

Responsibilities & Context

• Responsible for overseeing and managing the dyeing processes carried out by subcontract factories, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordination with subcontractors, monitoring production schedules, ensuring quality standards, and handling the logistics.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and ensure the dyed fabrics meets the Buyers’ quality and delivery requirements.
• Ensure that subcontract factories dyeing operations are adhered with color accuracy, fabric quality, and process standards.
• Regularly visit subcontractor facilities to oversee dyeing operations and address any issues or delays that may arise.
• Ensure that subcontract factories follow health, safety, and environmental regulations during the dyeing process.
• Conduct quality inspections on dyed fabrics produced by subcontract factories to ensure they meet company standards for color consistency, fastness, and overall quality.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the dyeing output from subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of all subcontracted dyeing orders, including costs, quantities, timelines, and outcomes.
• Document all dyeing specifications, processes, and agreements with subcontractors for future reference and audits.
• Analyze dyeing processes and subcontractor performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and faster turnaround times.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the subcontracting process, such as delays, quality defects, or miscommunication, and resolve them promptly.
