About the Opportunity
Cubix is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer & Designer to join us in supporting our client. You’ll play a key role in building and shaping their innovative platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-moving, early-stage product and make a real impact.
What You’ll Do
● Lead front-end development for a Chrome Extension and companion web tool.
● Design intuitive and seamless user experiences and interfaces.
● Collaborate closely with the client’s founders on product direction and technical decisions.
● Rapidly translate concepts into functional features.
● Iterate quickly based on feedback and insights.
● Contribute to a high-quality and empathetic user experience.
What You Bring
● 5+ years of hands-on experience in senior-level development and design roles.
● Deep expertise in React, Tailwind, and Node.js.
● Proven ability in UX/UI design with Figma.
● Experience with Chrome Extension development (desired).
● Comfort navigating the ambiguity of early-stage product development.
● Startup experience with a focus on prioritization and rapid iteration.
● Enthusiasm for leveraging AI/LLM in user-facing applications.
● Ability to write and design clean, scalable, and reusable code and interfaces with strong aflention to detail.
● A passion for building impactful products.
Bonus Points
● Experience with AWS Cognito or similar authentication frameworks.
● Background in health tech, wellness, or related domains.
● A personal interest in mental health and community building.
Ideally, you also have experience with:
● React Router
● GraphQL
● Cognito for OAuth authentication
