- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Waiter/Service Staff.
- At least 1 year of experience as Senior Waiter/Captain/Team Leader will be preferred.
- Experience in reputed cafe, restaurant, hotel, or coffee shop will get preference.
Responsibilities & Context
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present the menu, explain food items, and suggest suitable items to customers.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them properly to the kitchen/bar team.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and service presentation.
- Monitor customer needs and provide prompt support during service.
- Handle customer complaints, feedback, and special requests professionally.
- Guide and support junior waiters and service staff.
- Coordinate with kitchen, cashier, barista, and floor team for smooth operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area, service station, and customer area.
- Ensure proper opening and closing service procedures.
- Check food presentation and order accuracy before serving.
- Support upselling of menu items, combos, desserts, beverages, and promotions.
- Follow company SOP, hygiene standards, grooming standards, and service rules.
- Report any customer issue, equipment damage, stock shortage, or operational problem to management.
