Additional Requirements

Minimum 7 – 9 years of relevant experience in Textile/Fabric Testing Laboratory operations, preferably in a reputed ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory.• Work location would be at factory

Responsibilities & Context
Strong practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and Laboratory QMS, including Document & Record Control, Internal/External Audits, Training & Competency, Risk Management, Non-Conformity/CAPA, Management Review and Continual Improvement.
Hands-on experience in preparation, implementation and control of Quality Manual, Quality Procedures, SOPs, Work Instructions, Formats, Records and Technical Documents.
Sound knowledge and practical experience in Textile Physical Testing and Color Fastness Testing, with strong understanding of ISO, AATCC, ASTM, BS, DIN and other applicable international test methods.
Experience in Test Method Verification/Validation, Method Implementation, Technical Documentation and Evaluation of Test Results.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment Calibration, Preventive Maintenance, Intermediate Checks, Verification and Measurement Traceability.
Good understanding and practical experience in Measurement Uncertainty (MU), Laboratory Quality Control, PT (Proficiency Testing) and ILC (Inter-Laboratory Comparison), including investigation and corrective action for unsatisfactory results.
Ability to independently coordinate and face customer/buyer audits, internal audits and accreditation audits, including BAB, NABL or equivalent accreditation bodies, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Experience in handling customer/buyer testing requirements, test reports, technical queries, complaints, non-conformities and corrective actions.
Ability to maintain laboratory technical records, test reports, equipment records, calibration records and quality documentation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Capable of training, guiding and assessing laboratory personnel, ensuring technical competency and compliance with applicable test methods, standards and customer requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation and team-management skills.
Candidates having strong practical knowledge, experience, document preparation & implementation in Textile Testing as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017 will be highly preferred.
