Additional Requirements

• Extensive experience in pattern & garment technology is a must
• Experience in Casual wear Garment Technology role in Development & bulk will be advantageous.
• Negotiation & Influencing Skills§  Knowledge of Auditing
• Knowledge of the production cycle (end to end – concept to delivery)
• Knowledge of ISO Standards
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of product
• Computer Operating Skills (MS Office package)
• Communication skills

Responsibilities & Context

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd. (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled Sr. Manager / Manager of Product Development.

Key Accountabilities:

Introduce high level Innovation project considering following areas-

• Blue sky Innovations / New product designs
• New technique /process implementations
• Product portfolio upgrades
• Patent level projects that show company capabilities
• Run according to company & brand level sustainable goals
• Combining with other industries
• Combining with Brands
• Create a process capable, technically viable, premium, value added & cost-effective fabric in order to meet customer requirements/ specifications and right first-time manufacture:
• Direct the team on new product Innovation, based on market trend, customer sample/ specification analysis
• Clarify and advise on technical queries to customers
• Liaise with suppliers in obtaining technical information
• Discuss with process managers when necessary to finalize the best process route for new product development
• Guide and motivate the Product design & innovation team.
• Handle new product launch sessions / product presentations / product stories / mood boards /customer presentations with latest upgraded product portfolio. Customize product portfolio according to the requirement.
• Innovative product promotional strategies
• Innovative customer satisfaction strategies / service strategies
