Subject Background (Educational Requirements):

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in one of the following fields:
Computer Science
Software Engineering
Information Technology
Computer Engineering
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) – if coursework includes programming

Any equivalent field with strong programming and system development knowledge

Software Development & Implementation:

Design, develop, and implement web-based solutions using a diverse set of programming languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and C#.
Utilize modern frameworks and content management systems such as .NET, Laravel, and WordPress to deliver scalable and maintainable applications.
Develop and maintain responsive websites and dynamic web applications.
Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and devices to provide a consistent user experience.
Optimize website and application performance, focusing on load speed, responsiveness, and resource efficiency.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs.
Design and implement intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly front-end interfaces.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Collaborate with UI/UX designers to convert wireframes and design mockups into fully functional web pages.
Work closely with fellow developers, project managers, and stakeholders to align development efforts with business requirements and timelines.
Clearly articulate technical concepts and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Perform rigorous testing across various browsers, devices, and environments to validate functionality and ensure a seamless user experience.
Conduct performance benchmarking and load testing to verify system efficiency.
Implement security best practices to protect applications from common web vulnerabilities.

Maintenance & Continuous Improvement:

Provide ongoing support, updates, and enhancements for existing websites and applications.
Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to inform development practices.
Integrate new features and functionality based on user feedback and evolving requirements.

Additional Technical Responsibilities (as needed):

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Design, implement, and manage relational databases and data models.
Develop, integrate, and test RESTful APIs.
Participate in peer code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and maintainability.
Engage in requirements gathering and technical analysis with clients and end-users.
Contribute to architectural planning and high-level system design of web applications.
