Maintenance of the Inventory – dyes, chemicals and stationery
Taking care of Quality checks of the dyed yarn, shade approval of yarn as well as the worked fabric
Taking care of machine maintenance with quarterly, half yearly and yearly maintenance work co-ordination of Maintenance team. Taking care of spare parts inventory.
Responsibility of setting up of new Fong’s HTHP cheese dyeing plant for Polyester Dyeing 9 machines in the year 2009-10 under the guidance of the general Textile Dyeing Management.
Regular training of the workmen and supervisory staff on quality issues
Handled shade matching in lab and dyeing on Mezzera hank dyeing machines.
Co-ordination with Planning for the program and quality control dept for testing of fastness properties
Taking care of testing of Rubbing, washing, Light and Perspiration fastness.
Key user of the ERP software from the department for material movement, Recipe management and inventory management.
Training of the workmen and supervisory staff on quality issues
Handled yarn dyeing production in a capacity of H.O.D. on Bellini, Noseda and Fong’s HTHP cheese dyeing machines
Co-ordination with laboratory, Design and planning departments for day to day production requirements and sampling activities
Production planning according to priority and shipment requirements
Training of the workmen and supervisory staff on quality issues
