Requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree in any discipline
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Diploma
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in any relevant field.
- Diploma in Inventory or Warehouse Management will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 6 to 8 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments,Textile
Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP preferred).
Good understanding of yarn identification, labeling, and storage systems.
Proficiency in MS Excel and report generation.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Attention to detail, discipline, and time management.
Honest, responsible, and committed to maintaining compliance.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physically fit and ready to work in factory/store conditions.
Responsibilities & Context
Receive raw yarn against proper documentation (Challan, PO, GRN, etc.) and inspect for quantity and quality.
Store raw yarn properly with labeling, batch, lot, and shade information.
Maintain daily raw yarn receiving and issue records both in excel and manual registers.
Issue raw yarn to production units following FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
Plan and coordinate raw yarn dyeing based on production needs.
Receive dyed yarn with proper quantity check and documentation.
Store dyed yarn separately and in an organized manner with clear labeling.
Maintain updated records of dyed yarn stock, shade, and batch-wise.
Conduct physical stock verification and reconcile with system records regularly.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely reporting of shortages or excess.
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock and movement reports.
Ensure all store operations strictly follow approved SOPs and company policies.
Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and organized layout for easy traceability.
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Production, QC, Dyeing, and Accounts teams.
Ensure proper documentation during yarn movement in and out of the store.
Maintain dyeing in-out register and track delivery and return on time.
Handle any yarn mismatch, loss, or damage with proper reporting and investigation.
Supervise store assistants and laborers for smooth daily operations.
Train store team members on SOP, handling practices, and system entries.
Monitor the condition of storage racks, bins, and handling equipment.
Raise timely requisition for store supplies, packaging, or safety materials.
Support internal and external audits with required documents and data.
Ensure inventory and store functions align with production schedules and delivery targets.
