Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Head of Sales – Automotive Lubricants will lead the sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, and drive revenue growth in the automotive lubricants segment. This senior leadership role requires strategic planning, team management, and a deep understanding of the lubricant market to strengthen the company’s market position and achieve long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business goals and revenue targets in the automotive lubricants segment.

  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Define sales objectives, set targets, and establish performance benchmarks for the sales team.

Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.

  • Recruit, train, and develop high-performing sales professionals.

  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, including untapped territories and customer segments.

  • Strengthen distribution channels by building relationships with distributors, dealers, and other stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with marketing to plan and execute promotional campaigns, product launches, and branding initiatives.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including large distributors, fleet operators, and automotive workshops.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and delivering exceptional service.

  • Gather customer feedback to guide product development and service enhancements.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to assess team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.

  • Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
