Responsibilities & Context
- Supervise daily on-site civil works, including demolition, brickwork, plastering, flooring, false ceilings, and structural modifications.
- Coordinate seamlessly with interior designers, engineers, and specialized subcontractors (woodwork, glass, metalwork).
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met without compromising quality.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimations, and material take-offs based on interior layouts.
- Review architectural/interior drawings to identify potential structural challenges before execution begins.
- Ensure all civil and structural works adhere strictly to approved drawings, safety codes, and industry standards.
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
- Provide regular project progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Handle billing verification and certify measurements for contractor payments.
