Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst (AO – SO)

Requirements

Education

B.Sc. in CSE/ECE/ICT or related subjects·
Vendor Certification in CEH/CSA/CTIA is preferable with good understanding of Systems and Networking.

Experience

At least 2 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

Additional Requirements

Strong hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, SOAR and log analysis

Experience in security event monitoring, incident analysis, threat hunting and incident response.

Good understanding of systems and network security concepts.

Experience in CTF competitions or security challenges will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Perform 24×7 monitoring of security alerts and events generated by SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewall and other security tools.

Analyze, investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents.

Perform threat hunting and identify suspicious activities or indicators of compromise.

Escalate and coordinate incident response with relevant stakeholders.

Analyze security logs and prepare operational dashboards for monitoring and reporting.

Prepare and maintain documentation of security incidents, processes and procedures.

Continuously improve detection rules, playbooks and SOC operational processes.
