Education
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience
At least 6 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Golf Club, Event Management, Resort, Restaurant, Hotel, Group of Companies, Multinational Companies, Convention center
Additional Requirements
Minimum 6 years of catering sales or event management experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role
Deep understanding of catering, event planning, weddings, and corporate events
Proven track record of achieving sales targets; experience with proposal writing, negotiation, and closing
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and event management software
Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving
Fluent in English and Bengali
Established network of event planners, wedding coordinators, and corporate decision-makers in Dhaka
Ability to work evenings and weekends for events
Responsibilities & Context
Develop and execute catering sales strategies, generate new business opportunities, build client relationships, and achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
Create and maintain catering menus, pricing structures, themed packages, and value-added services that meet customer needs while ensuring profitability.
Meet clients, understand event requirements, prepare customized proposals, coordinate planning activities, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the event lifecycle.
Recruit, train, coach, and supervise team members, set performance goals, monitor results, and promote a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event setup, service delivery, logistics management, and issue resolution during events.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensure successful event delivery, gather post-event feedback, and secure repeat business opportunities.
Monitor catering budgets and event profitability, track sales performance metrics, prepare management reports, and forecast future revenue opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional materials, social media content, client engagement events, testimonials, and maintaining a strong catering portfolio.
